Shell herstructureert zijn organisatie

Shell brengt een nieuwe divisiestructuur aan in de organisatie.
Branche: (semi) Procesindustrie
Dit maakt Shell bekend op zijn website. De nieuwe organisatie wordt per 1 juli ingevoerd. Op het moment bestaat de Shell-organisatie uit Shell Upstream en Shell Downstream. Shell Upstream bestaat uit de divisies Exploratie & Productie, Gas & Power en Oil Sands. Deze divisies gaan over in de divisie Upstream Americas, die Noord- en Zuid-Amerika beslaat, en Upstream International voor de rest van de wereld. Marvin Odum, de huidige vice-voorzitter voor Exploration & Production Americas, wordt directeur Upstream Americas. Malcolm Brinded, de huidige directeur Exploration & Production, wordt directeur van Upstream International.
Naast Refining, Marketing en Chemicals valt per 1 juli ook Trading & Alternative Energy onder Shell Downstream. Wind-energie wordt onderdeel van Upstream. Mark Williams blijft directeur van Downstream.
